0900hrs Depart from Nairobi for the journey southwards, along the floor of The Great Rift Valley. Lunch at Narok and then climb the western wall entering Hemmingway’s trail in the “Serengeti plains”.
0400hrs Arrive late afternoon in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, conduct a short game drive enroute.
0730 Dinner, relaxation and overnight stay at the campsite/lodge.
0630hrs Early morning breakfast followed by a full day of game drives within the reserve. The Masai Mara is famous for its black manned lions, elephants and buffaloes that make three out of the ‘big five’. You could also (with a bit of luck) spot the other two; namely leopards and rhinos which are rather shy or elusive.
The park’s animal concentration and abundance is second to none, one of the reason this park is highly regarded worldwide. Little wonder, therefore, that Hemingsway Collection in this article about Kenya, affirms that a tour in the Mara or any other part of Kenya offers a moment of a lifetime with rich and extraordinary experiences. We will cater for picnic lunch at the hippo pool where you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks.
Numerous plains game including the antelopes, wildebeests, zebras, and Masai giraffes can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vultures.
